All of our properties are located within the district of Coimbra; a city most famed for its University and its Fado.
Both Condeixa-a-Nova and Montemor-o-Velho are Concelhos i.e. local government towns. As a result, both towns are fully equipped with all the day-to-day amenities you may wish for; post offices, supermarkets, schools, medical centres, swimming pools, police etc. etc.

The Concelho of Condeixa-a-Nova is made up of around 140km2. As well as the Roman site of Conímbriga, Condeixa encompasses the nature reserve of Paul de Arzila, which is noted for its year-round bird population.
Also worthy of a trip are the Gruta (caves) da Lapinha and Buracas do Casmilo, a valley where the weather has formed fascinating shapes into the landscape.
